Panini America’s 2014 baseball season so far has been highlighted by several highly productive products — headlined by the likes of 2014 Donruss Baseball, 2014 Prizm Baseball, 2014 Classics Baseball, 2014 Immaculate Baseball and the 2014 USA Baseball Box Set, to name five — that have forced many collectors to change the way they look at the company’s hardball roster.

Early next month, that trend promises to continue with the release of 2014 Elite Extra Edition Baseball. Arguably the industry’s favorite baseball-prospecting release, Elite Extra Edition returns this year with a tried-and-true recipe that favors lots of autographs, the game’s most promising future stars, ink-color variations and just a little bit of historical might.
