To help celebrate the recent release of 2016 Donruss Baseball, Panini America is teaming up with fine, feathered friend The Famous San Diego Chicken — whose unique presence in the product has hatched a collecting phenomenon — for a special hobby shop appearance at All Star Sports Cards in Santee, Calif.
In this case, you could call the legendary mascot a spring chicken as the meet and greet will take place Saturday, March 19, just one day before the official start of spring. The Famous San Diego Chicken will appear from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to deliver his unparalleled brand of humor and to sign autographs for All Star Sports Cards customers and fans of the fabled fowl.
Panini America will provide special oversized versions of The Famous San Diego Chicken’s 2016 Donruss Baseball card for him to sign. Panini America also will provide door prizes for All Star Sports Cards to award to randomly selected attendees.
