Panini America Finally Gives Country Music a Trading Card Set to Call its Own (Gallery)
The seemingly omnipresent appeal of country music and its biggest stars today is inescapable. It’s on the radio . . . at the grocery store . . . on the newsstand . . . on morning talk shows . . . and late-night talk shows . . . and network television . . . and cable television . . . and all over social media and the web. But in the coming days, country music will enter a bold, new frontier: The trading card shop.
Next Wednesday, Panini America will release a standalone trading card set devoted exclusively to the biggest stars — past, present and future — of country music featuring great photography, superstar autographs and unique memorabilia cards embedded with pieces of entertainer-worn clothing. To be sure, Panini Country Music provides a timeless tribute to one of the world’s most beloved musical genres — not to mention some long-overdue Rookie Cards.
We’ve provided a few sneak peeks of the historic release in recent weeks here on The Knight’s Lance. Today, we’re revealing a whole lot more with a comprehensive gallery showcasing the inserts, parallels, autographs and memorabilia cards sure to become instant classics in the coming days.
