BACKPanini America, New England Patriots Team Up to Celebrate Super Bowl Anniversary
Beginning today, Panini America, the exclusive traditional trading card partner of the NFL and NFLPA, is employing its Panini Eternal on-demand trading card platform to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the New England Patriots first Super Bowl victory following the 2001 season. The season-long celebration started today with the release of the first Panini Eternal card commemorating Tom Brady’s first career start against the Indianapolis Colts.
Over the course of the next several weeks, Panini America will launch a new Patriots Panini Eternal card every Thursday, with special cards honoring key moments and players from the Patriots’ 2001 season, including Brady, Troy Brown, Willie McGinest and Adam Vinatieri.
Today’s debut release includes unnumbered base versions as well as rare parallel versions numbered to just five and one. As the 15th anniversary program continues, some future cards will include embedded precious gems and limited autographs. Each Panini Eternal card will be available to order for just 48 hours.
