Panini America On Location: Day-One Sights from the 2011 NHL All-Star Fan Fair

RALEIGH, N.C. — The puck officially dropped on the 2011 NHL Fan Fair Friday afternoon, a festive first day when elbow room was hard to come by and Panini America hockey wrappers filled the Raleigh Convention Center floor like carpet.

When we weren’t overwhelmed with foot traffic inside the booth, we managed to take a few pictures of the day’s festivities, which featured a steady stream of wrapper-redeeming hockey fanatics, ongoing 2010-11 Panini NHL Adrenalyn demonstrations and enough free Panini NHL Sticker Collection albums and commemorative sticker sheets to keep the thousands in attendance happy, hearty and full of hobby love.

We can’t wait to see what’s in store for us Saturday, when the Panini team will split up to tag-team the day two of the Fan Fair and the Honda NHL SuperSkills competition inside the RBC Center. Stay tuned for complete coverage of those events tomorrow.

Until then, enjoy these scenes from show floor during a wildly successful first day.
