Panini America on Location: Sights, Sounds from the 2011 NFL PLAYERS Rookie Debut
NEW YORK — Panini America officials spent a wild, restless and rookie filled weekend in New York City as a major sponsor of the second annual NFL PLAYERS Rookie Debut in conjunction with the 2011 NFL Draft.
The company spent quality time with several of this weekend’s highly touted draft picks, including Blaine Gabbert, Von Miller, Julio Jones and Mark Ingram in the name of acquiring quality content — interviews and photography — for both its future trading card sets and for The Knight’s Lance.
In the coming days and weeks, we’ll share much of that content right here. But since today is a travel day for those of us who attended this weekend’s festivities, we thought this impromptu gallery would sufficiently whet your appetite for the goodies to come.
Stay tuned later this week for complete coverage of Panini America’s activation at the event, including a must-see football card roundtable with an all-star panel that included 2010 Offensive Rookie of the Year Sam Bradford, New York Jets tight end Dustin Keller and 2011 rookies Cameron Jordan and Daniel Thomas.
