Panini America Provides a Detailed First Look at 2021 Gold Standard Football

Panini America officials recently sent out preliminary Product Information Solicitations for several exciting new products coming soon to a hobby shop or online retailer near you. Today, we’re sharing that same information with you here on The Knight’s Lance, this time featuring the gilded greatness of Gold Standard Football.

In the extensive product preview that follows, we’ll showcase a bevy of preliminary images from the upcoming 2021 Gold Standard Football as well as the product’s Hobby and FOTL PIS documents.

Estimated Release Date: August 4
Product Configuration: Seven cards per box, 12 boxes per case.
BOX BREAK: Five autograph or memorabilia cards and two base or parallel cards per hobby box, on average.

  • 2021 Gold Standard Football is loaded with all the top rookies, veterans and retired stars the NFL has to offer.
  • Look for Rookie Jersey Autographs of all the top 2021 Rookies; also find
    the Rookie Jersey Autographs Double and Rookie Jersey Autographs Triple featuring multiple swatches and paralleling to Prime (numbered to 49 or less) and Tag 1/1 versions.
  • New in 2021, look for autograph inserts featuring signatures from legends past and present in Hallmarks and Au. Also, be on the lookout for the new super-rare inserts Opulence Rookies, Double Eagle and Liquidity.
  • Chase the limited Super Bowl Diamond Signatures and the Super Bowl Diamond Signatures Duals, which include real diamonds embedded in each card and commemorating only players who have won the biggest game in the NFL.
  • Find memorabilia cards in Hall of Gold Threads, Gold Gear, Gold Rush, White Gold, Mother Lode and Golden Pairs. Each of these cards parallels to Prime versions (numbered to 49 or less) and Premium 1/1s.
