Panini America Provides a Detailed First Look at the Upcoming 2019-20 Encased Basketball

Panini America officials recently sent out preliminary Product Information Solicitations for several exciting new products coming soon to a hobby shop or online retailer near you. Today, we’re sharing that same information with you here on The Knight’s Lance, this time featuring Encased Basketball.

In the extensive product preview that follows, we’ll showcase a must-see bevy of preliminary images from 2019-20 Encased Basketball as well as the product’s PIS documents for both hobby and 1st Off The Line versions. Enjoy the sneak peek and stay tuned for additional details.

Release Date: August 14, 2020
Product Configuration: Five cards per box, eight boxes per case.
BOX BREAK: One BGS-graded autograph, one additional autograph and two memorabilia cards per hobby box, on average.

  • Find BGS-graded, hard-signed autograph cards of some of the top rookies and best veterans in the league. Every autographed card in Encased is numbered to 99 or less.
  • Look for Rookie Jersey Autographs in several different tiers numbered to as low as one. Also, new for 2019-20, find Rookie Jersey Autographs Dual featuring two pieces of memorabilia with Prime versions numbered to as low as one.
  • Chase the new Making the Grade autograph set pairing a top rookie and an on-card autograph numbered to each player’s respective draft position.
  • Encased Basketball delivers a strong lineup of autograph content featuring on-card signatures from Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Kevin Garnett, Zion Williamson, Ja Morant, Rui Hachimura, RJ Barrett and more.
