Panini America Provides a Detailed First Look at the Upcoming 2020 Donruss Optic Baseball

Panini America officials recently sent out preliminary Product Information Solicitations for several exciting new products coming soon enough to a hobby shop or online retailer near you. Today, we’re sharing that same information with you here on The Knight’s Lance, this time featuring the Prizm-powered 2020 Donruss Optic Baseball.

In the extensive product preview that follows, we’ll showcase a must-see bevy of preliminary images from the product as well as the product’s PIS documents for both hobby and retail versions. Enjoy the sneak peek and stay tuned for additional details.

Release Date: July 22, 2020
Product Configuration: Four cards per pack, 20 packs per box, 12 boxes per case.
BOX BREAK: Two autographs, 10 Prizms and 20 inserts per hobby box, on average.

  • Highlights Signatures is an on-card autograph set that features highlights from some of the game’s biggest stars including Juan Soto, Aaron Judge and more.
  • Find on-card autographs from top rookies and prospects featuring Yordan Alvarez, Gavin Lux, Bo Bichette and more. 
  • Chase not one but two ultra-rare inserts in Donruss Optic in Stars and Stripes and Fort Knox.
  • Each case will deliver two autograph Hot Boxes that will contain five autographs and two Prizm Hot Boxes that will contain 20 numbered parallels per box.
