Panini America Provides Detailed First Look at 2017 Flawless Baseball (Preview Gallery)

Regardless of the sport, Panini America's Flawless brand really needs no additional bells and whistles to create a sizable buzz among high-end collecting enthusiasts. Year in and year out, those trademark Flawless briefcases continue delivering some of the most sought after single cards in the industry. But for the upcoming 2017 Flawless Baseball, the addition of Mickey Mantle should intensify things considerably; hard-signed Rookie Patch Autographs from the likes of Aaron Judge won't hurt, either.

Regardless of the sport, Panini America’s Flawless brand really needs no additional bells and whistles to create a sizable buzz among high-end collecting enthusiasts. Year in and year out, those trademark Flawless briefcases continue delivering some of the most sought after single cards in the industry. But for the upcoming 2017 Flawless Baseball, the addition of Mickey Mantle should intensify things considerably; hard-signed Rookie Patch Autographs from the likes of Aaron Judge won’t hurt, either.

Set to arrive in hobby shops across North America in late December (just in time for those last-minute gift ideas), 2017 Flawless Baseball delivers a uniquely Flawless experience that includes cut autographs from the legends of baseball’s past, hard-signed RPAs from key members of the hottest rookie crop in years and memorabilia cards that could go directly from the Flawless briefcase to a museum.

Each 10-card briefcase will deliver six autographs, two memorabilia cards and two cards featuring precious gems. The highlights of the product, as collectors have come to expect, are plentiful and include . . .

  • The Flawless debut of The Mick includes four base cards, three memorabilia cards and 20 cut signatures.
  • In addition to Mantle, collectors will also find cut signatures from the legendary likes of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Ty Cobb, Roberto Clemente, Jackie Robinson, Honus Wagner, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams and Jimmie Foxx.
  • Autographs from the ultra-hot 2017 rookie class numbered to 25 or less.
  • A base set featuring only the most collectible legends, superstars and rookies, all numbered to 20 or less.
  • A variety of on-card autographs including dual memorabilia, jumbo memorabilia, dual autographs and more.
