Panini America Quality Control Gallery Explores the History-Making 2019 Donruss WNBA Release

July 22, 2019

Hobby history will be made on Wednesday when Panini America unveils its inaugural WNBA trading card release — and it’s fittingly under the flagship Donruss brand to boot. Boasting arguably the greatest autograph roster in WNBA history, 2019 Donruss WNBA Basketball is built to impress with a stacked product honoring the league’s legends as well as the game’s biggest veterans and future stars.

The product is loaded with traditional Donruss bells and whistles (including seven unique insert designs) and the aforementioned roster of autographs will be 100 percent live. On average, each hobby box of 2019 Donruss WNBA Basketball (30 cards per pack, four packs per box) will deliver two autographs, six Optic or Optic parallels and 24 additional inserts or parallels.

Each card in the 100-card base set features an Optic version with Holo, Gold (numbered to 10) and Gold Vinyl (numbered to one) parallels and the product features the first trading cards of the top incoming WNBA rookies in the Rated Rookies chase. What’s more, fans and collectors can chase rare BuyBack Autographs from original 1997 and 1998 Pinnacle WNBA releases.

As for the autograph checklist, well, it includes the likes of A’ja Wilson, Arike Ogunbowale, Asia Durr, Becky Hammon, Breanna Stewart, Brittney Griner, Candace Parker, Cheryl Miller, Chiney Ogwumike, Cynthia Cooper-Dyke, Diana Taurasi, Elena Delle Donne, Jackie Young, Lisa Leslie, Liz Cambage, Maya Moore, Nancy Lieberman, Nneka Ogwumike, Rebecca Lobo, Sheryl Swoopes, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Sue Bird, Tina Charles and more.

We offer a revealing Quality Control Gallery below. Enjoy the sneak peek and stay tuned for additional coverage.
