The Ohio State women’s basketball team was decisively unbeatable to start the 2024-25 season, rallying to a perfect 17-0 record before falling to Penn State on Jan. 19. That undefeated run not only highlighted their skill on the court but also showcased the remarkable team chemistry and leadership that have made them one of the most formidable squads in college basketball.

From the opening tip-off, Ohio State demonstrated a balanced and versatile playing style. The team’s offense was — obviously — unmatched, with key players stepping up in big moments. Whether it was fast breaks or precision shooting, the Buckeyes were clicking on all cylinders, making them a tough matchup for anyone on their schedule.
