The Panini Donruss FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ release is here, and this inaugural trading card collection celebrates the captivating tournament that took place in Australia and New Zealand in the summer.

The event expanded to 32 teams for the first time and did not disappoint. Each round was filled with electric moments that bolstered the status of the women’s game on the world stage. Several teams took advantage of a chance to write a new chapter in their history books and added a few exclamation points in the process.

Spain put on wonderful displays from start to finish and secured its first world title by beating England in the final. Golden Ball winner Aitana Bonmatí had a wonderful showing with three goals and two assists. Key goals by Salma Paralluelo in the quarterfinals and semifinals boosted her to the Best Young Player Award.

Japan, which was the only team to take a point from Spain, got an incredible performance from the dynamic Hinata Miyazawa, whose five goals locked up the Golden Boot.

The Lionesses of England won each of their matches in the group stage and ventured into the final with huge contributions from Alessia Russo, Lauren James and Golden Glove winner Mary Earps.

The event also marked tournament farewells for pillars of the U.S. Women’s National Team. Megan Rapinoe and Julie Ertz gave it their all in their closing act with the USWNT.

All 32 participating teams are represented in the 235-card base set, featuring red and orange parallels.
The base set includes 35 short-printed SP cards that feature some of the tournament’s best players, like Australia’s Sam Kerr, the England trio of Chloe Kelly, Lucy Bronze and Millie Bright and other stars.
There are also base set SP autograph cards to collect, including champion Jennifer Hermoso from Spain, Christine Sinclair from Canada and Brazilian legend Marta. There is also a host of USWNT members, including Rapinoe, Alex Morgan and rising stars Sophia Smith and Trinity Rodman.
