The Hits: 2010-11 Donruss Basketball

I’ll be the first to admit that we’ve gone above and beyond in attempting to whet the collective collecting appetite for 2010-11 Donruss Basketball. Why? Simply, I think it’s one of the most alluring products of the recent basketball past and  I figure that many old-school collectors will find it to be as captivating as I do.

In recent days we’ve posted a 2010-11 Donruss Basketball Drool Gallery and an episode of Panini Unwrapped starring the product. And now, comes this gallery showcasing many of the product’s scarcer autograph, memorabilia and insert hits and a few of the top Rookie Cards.

Like so many errant passes from Scott Prusha on the Panini pick-up court, I intercepted this batch of beauties from Stephanie Carlson, Panini America‘s VP of Production, as she was escorting them back to customer service. I pleaded with her to give me five minutes to scan them.

She obliged. The following eye candy is the result.
