Last month during the 2012 NFLPA Rookie Premiere, Panini America’s Tracy Hackler and Scott Prusha took turns sitting down with the 35 superstar rookies in attendance for a series of engaging interviews that will take us right up to this week’s release of 2012 Prestige Football.
We kicked off our “Countdown to 2012 Prestige Football” interview series a few weeks back with towering Bronco Brock Osweiler, then followed suit with Philadelphia Eagle and native Texan Nick Foles, Houston Texans receiver DeVier Posey, St. Louis Rams running back Isaiah Pead and Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman.
Today we bring you a special “Countdown to Prestige” interview with Dallas Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne. Since Claiborne didn’t attend the 2012 NFLPA Rookie Premiere, we took advantage of his proximity to Panini America HQ and took the Premiere to him. A few weeks ago, Panini America’s Joe White and Carlos Torrez visited Claiborne in his new Dallas-area home for an autograph signing and this sit-down interview during which Claiborne discusses playing for the Cowboys, potentially playing offense and looking up to Terrell Owens.
Enjoy the interview and stay tuned to the end for the exclusive world-premiere unveiling of Claiborne’s 2012 Prestige Rookie Card, the first to picture him in his NFL uniform.
