Would you trade a cherished Wayne Gretzky hockey card for one of Felix Potvin? Dallas Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen would . . . and has. And he'd do it again in a heartbeat.
Would you trade a cherished Wayne Gretzky hockey card for one of Felix Potvin? Dallas Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen would . . . and has. And he’d do it again in a heartbeat.
Lehtonen revealed that and so much more on Thursday evening during a signing at his home with Panini America hockey acquisitions guru Alex Carbajal.
While signing some sweet on-card autos for the company’s upcoming 2010-11 Pinnacle and 2010-11 Playoff Contenders products, Lehtonen took some time to elaborate on the evolution of his signature, his collecting past in Finland and whether he ever thinks about hockey cards while in net.
I’ve got Lehtonen in Fantasy this year. C’mon baby – 4 more solid weeks is all I’m asking for.
As a side note, Contenders is going to be incredible. Doing at least 2, if not 3 cases at this year’s National Convention.
