  2. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays guys. You have brought me a lot of joy and fun this year and a couple bonding experiences with my son 🙂 Thank you so much for al you do for all of us. Kudos on anther great looking release. Oh and Black may be the most AMAZING product ever

  3. Oh wow. I am LOVING this already! How much will this cost per box? The Rookie of The Year cards are beautiful & then some! Really like the thinking of the Rookie Rememberance cards (especially that Durant one) they have a real “Modern Marks” out of Past and Present look to them kinda. I have never gotten an autograph with a patch so that will be a fun chase. I think those cards always look nice & sexy! The inked looking autos are up there with some of my favorites! It’s a classy & simple design but the color really gives it a nice pop! I can only imagine what those would have looked like with on card autos AHHH! Over all it’s a very unique looking product & I really like this one! I hope yall do more of the box inside of a box thing like Absolute. That’s by far my favorite thing that yall have done next to the printed checklist that were in last years NBA Hoops! It really makes dropping $150.00 a little less painful when it takes a little more time to open the packs rather than 1 jumbo pack in a medium size box. Next step is to take that idea and in each of the small boxes individually wrap each of the 5 cards! I always felt like having 1 card in 1 pack makes it feel like a more “quality” & “expensive” product.
I do have a few words of criticism though.. I would like to hear yalls thinking behind so many releases for this year. Panini, yall make such wonderful products & you are the reason I got back into collecting but there really is no time to “set build” or enjoy a product. I bought another box of Prizm & Threads for Christmas & haven’t even gotten to buy a box of Absolute yet (will be doing that after Christmas) and this product drops on the 26th! My local shop just got Absolute in 2-3 days ago & knowing that this one will drop in 2 days kinda hurts my soul a bit. I was talking with the owner & he agrees that it is making it rough on not just his shop but the collector. It’s a wonderful thing to have so many products to pick from yes. But it is so hard to stop & admire the time & effort yall have put into each product with the checklist & the art work of the cards. I hope all these releases won’t make the later products or even next years a downgrade after how beautiful these cards have looked. I could ramble on all day sorry about the length of this comment. I really would like to hear yalls thinking on the amount of releases Tracy. I did my first online break a couple days ago & I had the Heat but the number of redemption cards were greater than the number of autos in the box. I believe we had 8 redemptions for a 6 box break of Absolute. Maybe narrowing down to a few less release will make for a stronger product, more sales, better card value, & less redemptions. Thanks again for all yalls hard work at Panini! I couldn’t be more pleased at what yall have done. Hope you have a Merry Christmas!

  4. Do those Rookie Remembrance have an auto set? I think on-card Gold and Silver ink autos would look real CLEAN on those cards.
Any world on some RPA’s this year?

  5. Wow looking great-pulled an Isaih Pead gridiron jems jersey #d to 249 and a Ryan Tannehill rookie collection jersey in rookies & stars for Christmas. Thanks again Panini for making awesome cards for collectors like me to enjoy:) Merry Chrristmas to all!

  6. First of all Merry Christmas to all the subscribers and the team over at Panini!
Excited to see the new release! And looking forward to the unwrapped episode as always with Keith and Tracy!
Everyone looks so young in the Rookie Remembrance pictures lol

  7. Wow, wasn’t expecting this to come out till next year! What an unexpected surprise! Love the rookie auto design this year, very simple & clean with a smoky flare on the back. Thanks for the preview again Tracy! Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays everyone!

  8. Well, it looks great. It really does! I’m not a basketball fan, but I love hockey and Contenders was my absolute favourite last season. Would this be similar to the hockey product I would be very disappointed. Not about the design, it’s okay in many ways, but because of the sticker autos. Contenders should feature on-card-autos only!

  9. Lot of knocks on the message boards about panini including game used into this set… not my opinion just reporting… i think its better to have game used than the manufacturered patches from last year… but feedback is important as u know.

  10. Looks a lot like the last week released Absolute and the earlier released Prestige. If you took of the product names and threw all three sets together on one pile i couldnt tell the difference. Just like Absolute was known for the RPM ball/auto/jsy cards, Contenders is known for the rookie ticket on-card autos. To me both Absolute and this about to be released Contenders have totally lost their identity.
Fast isnt always better, the necessity for sticker autos proves that. But hey thats just my 2 cents!
