Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater Takes Home Week 13 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week
Voters on NFL.com have made their choice. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater of the Minnesota Vikings is the Week 13 2014 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week, the NFL announced today. Bridgewater passed for 138 yards and two touchdowns for a 120.7 passer rating in the Vikings’ 31-13 win against the Carolina Panthers.
Bridgewater was selected from five finalists through fan votes on NFL.com. The other Week 13 finalists included St. Louis Rams running back Tre Mason, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Donte Moncrief, Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Aaron Colvin and Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams.
After the regular season, five players will be nominated for 2014 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors. In conjunction with the 2014 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week promotion, Panini America produces virtual trading cards of each week’s five nominees and a virtual card for each week’s winner.
