Where It All Started: #PaniniWildCard Back to Kick Off 2014 NFL Wild Card Weekend

Exactly two years ago tomorrow, Panini America officials launched the #PaniniWildCard Twitter promotion as a way to celebrate the excitement of the NFL playoffs while rewarding loyal fans with free boxes of trading cards. In the 24 months since, #PaniniWildCard has become an undeniable Twitter sensation, enriching the real-time playoff experiences for fans and collectors of the NFL, NBA and more.

#PaniniWildCard has generated, among other things, some of the most creative images ever Tweeted, more than 500 free prizes, and unrivaled social-media buzz. Well, we say all of that to say this: #PaniniWildCard is returning to where it all began this weekend to honor the kickoff of the 2014 NFL playoffs.

Beginning today, we’re putting the “wild” back in Wild Card Weekend with a two-day celebration marked by heavy Twitter interaction, free boxes of football cards and fun. We’re giving away one box of new Panini America NFL trading cards during every quarter of every NFL playoff game this weekend. That’s 16 boxes of cards to 16 winners (not counting any games that might go into overtime). In order to be eligible to win a box this weekend, all you have to do is Tweet @PaniniAmerica a pic of you with your favorite 2014 Panini America NFL card using the#PaniniWildCard hash tag. The more creative and entertaining your picture, the better.
