WINNER ANNOUNCED | 2022 Super Bowl LVI Kid Reporter

Every year, Panini America receives hundreds of thousands of entries for the Super Bowl Kid Reporter contest, which should come as no surprise – the winner has an opportunity to attend the Super Bowl and interview some of the biggest names in the NFL. This year was no different. We received over 228,000 entries submitted, and had to  choose one lucky winner from a heap of clever and entertaining video submissions.

This year, we’re excited to announce that 10-year-old Gavin Ast was given the nod as Panini’s Super Bowl LVI Kid Reporter. Gavin, a resident of Surprise, AZ, submitted a show-stopping video submission that included him interviewing players and acting out both the interviewer and the interviewee roles. It was fantastic!

Gavin is an avid card collector, breaking product with his father, Skip, on a regular basis. The winning code was pulled from a box of 2021 Donruss Football, purchased from the Panini Direct Store.

Our own, Trent Dilfer, had the distinct pleasure of breaking the good news to Gavin. Be sure to check back this week as the Panini Super Bowl Kid Reporter interviews top players from the Super Bowl teams, and other players during the week in Los Angeles from our Panini VIP Player Lounge.
