Behind the Scenes with Panini Authentic at the First Andrew Luck Signing (Video)
Panini Authentic made sports-business headlines earlier today with the big announcement that it had signed Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck to an exclusive multi-year autograph and memorabilia agreement, making him the first NFL athlete to join the Panini Authentic roster.
But perhaps the most pivotal moments of the new exclusive relationship occurred three weeks ago tomorrow, in the relative obscurity of an Indianapolis hotel room while Luck was beginning the first bye week of his NFL career. That’s when Panini America officials Jason Howarth and Brian Bayne conducted the historic first Panini Authentic signing with Luck.
Luckily for all of us, the camera was rolling inside that hotel room and the following video provides a rare behind-the-scenes peek at the proceedings.
After the video, stick around for a complete gallery of images detailing the Luck memorabilia signed that day, available right now at the Panini Authentic Website.
