Panini America Issues Statement on 2020 Select Football 2021 NFL Draft XRC Mystery Autograph Redemptions

An unexpected data error that affected some 2020 Select Football 2021 NFL Draft XRC Mystery Autograph redemptions has led to an unprecedented situation with unprecedented benefits. In short, all five cards in the Black and Gold XRC Mystery Autograph sets (originally slated to feature Golds numbered to 10 and Black 1/1s) will now feature 11 unique 1/1 versions (10 Black 1/1s and one Gold 1/1). The issue is a result of a data-entry error by a print vendor when creating the original XRC redemption codes.

With the 2021 NFL Draft kicking off tonight, the revealing of who those five subjects will be is imminent. But for collectors holding any of the 55 possible impacted Black or Gold Mystery Autograph redemptions, the reward will be a 1/1 autograph from one of the top new rookies in the NFL.

The Base Mystery Autograph and Tie-Dye Mystery Autograph versions, as well as all non-autographed XRCs, were not impacted. Stay tuned for additional information.
