How important is native Texan and former "American Idol" contestant Celena Rae to the Dallas Stars? Well, consider this: No home game starts without her. Ever. Indeed, for the last 10 years, Rae has delivered her powerfully poignant rendition of the National Anthem as only she can; a booming, breathtaking blockbuster that would certainly bring every fan inside the American Airlines Center on any given night to their feet if they weren't standing already.

To be sure, Rae’s voice is a divine instrument, as impressive and engaging as her quick wit and seemingly endless supply of spunk. Make no mistake: Rae is a Dallas Stars star. She’s a singer at the beginning of games and the in-arena host during every period thereafter. She celebrates their wins, bemoans their losses and spends more time on the ice than most rookies. It’s about time she appeared on her own NHL trading card.
Rae’s is one of the key voices in the Voices of the Game insert that appears in Panini America’s new 2013-14 Crown Royale Hockey release. In late January, we followed Rae around American Airlines Center, capturing her pre-Anthem routine, her Anthem performance and finally, at the end of the night, her Voices of the Game signing session, all of which makes the following video must-see stuff.
Enjoy.
